Why Qurban with Us?

Qurban means "sacrifice."

Every year during the Islamic month of Zulhijjah, Muslims around the world slaughter an animal – a goat, sheep, cow or camel – to reflect the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail, for the sake of God.

By performing Qurban with us, you are doing good within the good. You would be doubling your rewards – of performing Qurban and giving charity to the underprivileged.

"Those who believe and do righteous good deeds, there is no sin on them for what they ate (in the past), if they fear Allah (by keeping away from His forbidden things), and believe and do righteous good deeds, and again fear Allah and believe, and once again fear Allah and do good deeds with ihsan (perfection). And Allah loves the good-doers."

(Surah Al-Ma'idah: 93)

Last year, we distributed Qurban meat to 952 beneficiaries, including the orphans & youths-at-risk at MTFA Darul Ihsan Orphanages and other less fortunate families in Singapore.

"...That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of (sacrificial) animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor." (Quran 22:28)
