120 YEARS OF HELPING THE COMMUNITY.
We strive for equality, peace, justice and compassion while respecting each other’s strengths and talents, and respectively, accepting one another’s weaknesses and differences, and giving each ample opportunity to reach their greatest potential.
It all started with one purpose; to look after the welfare of the poor, underprivileged, and orphaned Muslims in Singapore.
OUR HISTORY
Doing good since 1904
Our founding fathers' mission has survived the test of time, and, through the collective effort of countless dedicated Singaporeans, MTFA has helped tens of thousands of people navigate their most difficult times in life.
1904
Seven gentlemen founded what is today known as the Muslimin Trust Fund Association (MTFA)
1962
MTFA Darul Ihsan Boys' Orphanage was officially launched on 21 August
1980
MTFA Darul Ihsan Girls’ Orphanage was officially launched on 20 December
2018
MTFA launched its first dialysis centre to subsidise kidney treatment to anyone in need, regardless of heritage and beliefs
2020
MTFA’s first social enterprise was founded in
April 2020 with a unique plough-back model
that funds burial costs for the needy
