"Qurban for Yatim" is a dedicated initiative by MTFA where 100% of your sheep sacrifice in Indonesia is distributed to orphanages. While this program extends your Ihsan to vulnerable children in Surabaya, it also supports our Yatim Fund. This fund provides crucial financial relief for suddenly orphaned children here in Singapore.

We will be accepting Qurban orders until 19 May 2026, 23:59. Please be sure to complete your registration and payment before this date so we can finalize the arrangements.

Yes, we will provide you an e-certificate along with a photo of your Qurban as proof of completion.

Your e-certificate and Qurban photos will be emailed to you approximately 2 to 3 weeks following Eid al-Adha.

Yes, performing Qurban on behalf of someone who has passed away (Arwah) is permissible and welcomed. When registering, please clearly indicate the name of the deceased in the 'Name for Qurban' field on the checkout form so we can ensure the intention is recorded correctly and your e-certificate is generated accurately.

We accept PayNow and cash payments. For cash payments, you may walk in to our office at 5 Mattar Road, Singapore 387713 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm). Please note that walk-in payments must be completed by 19 May 2026.

The difference lies in the occasion they are performed on, and their occurrence: Qurban is performed after Eid Al-Adha prayers are conducted, hence becoming a yearly affair. Aqiqah, however, is performed only once in a lifetime upon the birth of a child by his/her parents.

According to Imam Ash-Shafi'i, abstaining from cutting our hair and nails from the 1st of Zulhijjah is a Sunnah for those intending to perform the Qurban. However, it is not wrong to cut our hair or nails during this period, especially if these parts grew excessively long. Hygiene is a part of Islam after all.

It was narrated that Abu Ayyub al-Ansari r.a. said, ‘At the time of the Prophet ﷺ, a man would sacrifice a sheep on behalf of himself and his household, and they would eat some and give some to others.’ [At-Tirmidhi] Therefore, it is sufficient for us to sacrifice one sheep for each household.
