Care for our orphans & underprivileged children
Since 1962, MTFA has been actively providing sustenance and education for these children at MTFA Darul Ihsan Orphanages.
For close to 60 years, MTFA and
Darul Ihsan Orphanages care for vulnerable youths and orphans in the community. Your support and contribution help us create a nurturing environment for the unprotected children.

Together, Let's Make a Better World
Help MTFA to continue caring for them by making a donation or performing Zakat with us!
Victims of Abuse
Often referred by the MSF, children who experienced neglect or abuse are integrated in socially active programs, until their families are ready to responsibly care for them again.
Orphans & Neglected Children
When a child loses his/her parents, and no extended family is available to care for them, we welcome them in our fold, and channel them through various programs.
Preparing for a new life
Being a resident in MTFA Darul Ihsan Orphanages means learning to face life and its challenges with a smile and determination. Our curriculum is rich with meaningful activities and workshops to prepare them in a aspects of life.
Caring for a child
It really is like family! Once discharged, the residents remain under MTFA’s care & supervision. Each former resident is followed-up by their dedicated case worker and previous home guardians.
It comes to little surprise that all former residents have proven very resourceful in taking charge of their own lives, often helping the younger generation of residents find their own path.
Empowering Vulnerable Youths Towards Independence
Ihsan Living
Established in April 2021, Ihsan Living is a transitional living program designed to support vulnerable young adults who are exiting Children’s Homes after aging out of the system and have nowhere else to go - often due to the absence of a safe adult or family to return to.
The program was created to address a real-world need for structured, continued support for youths who lack stable family backing and are not yet ready for full independence.
Mission:
To provide safe housing, essential support, and life skills that enable underprivileged youths to transition confidently into independent living.

Accommodation
We provide safe and supervised living spaces within HDB flats. These are shared units that come fully furnished with all the essentials. Our staff conduct regular check-ins to ensure every resident is safe, comfortable, and well-supported as they learn to live on their own.
Life Skills Training
Living independently requires more than just a roof. We teach our residents the practical skills they need for adulthood. This includes everything from cooking and meal planning to keeping a home clean. We also focus on their total well-being by helping them manage their mental and emotional health.
Employment Readiness
We help our residents find their footing in the workforce. Our team provides one-on-one job coaching and career guidance. We help them write their resumes and practice for interviews. Whether it is an internship or a full-time job, we stay by their side until they secure a stable role.
Counselling & Mentorship
No one should have to navigate adulthood alone. Every resident has access to trusted mentors for emotional and social support. We provide a listening ear and professional guidance to help them make important decisions about their future and their careers.
Community Engagement
We believe that being part of a community is vital for a meaningful life. We organize group activities to help our residents bond with their peers. We also create opportunities for them to volunteer and give back to society. This helps them build a support network and a true sense of purpose.
