Unity Through Charity: MTFA’s Islandwide Donation Drive

MTFA held our Islandwide Donation Drive on 31 October 2025. This year’s drive was particularly special as we extended our efforts to various heartlands across Singapore, reaching a wider community.

Our staff were bustling back at the headquarters. What began as a typical Friday soon felt different, as over 100 volunteers and staff gathered with a smile and a donation tin in hand - each one representing hope, compassion, and the spirit of giving.

The objective of the drive was to raise funds to support essential services, including financial aid, scholarships, medical care, and burial services. The drive also helps strengthen ties with the community through active participation, while raising awareness of MTFA’s mission and services. 

It was a simple but meaningful scene of community and faith. Volunteers stood shoulder to shoulder under the afternoon sun, greeting passers-by with warmth. Every act, no matter how small, carried a shared intention: to make a difference.

For MTFA, this drive was more than just a fundraising effort. It was a reminder of the power of collective kindness - how small acts, when multiplied across a community, can create real impact. It reflected the essence of Ihsan (excellence), a core value that lies at the heart of MTFA’s mission.

Though the drive may have lasted only a few hours, its impact will extend far beyond that afternoon. The funds collected will support programs that provide care, shelter, and education to those who need it most.

MTFA extends our heartfelt appreciation to every volunteer, donor, staff and partner mosque that made this possible. May this spirit of giving continue to light our path - reminding us that true blessings lie not in what we receive, but in what we give.
